Im home for christmas and felt like I need to put something together.. I went through the raws from this past summer. Didn’t have to look for a long time, because I immediately remembered 2 days of shooting with Lauren at the Cabin! I wanted to have a separate dance scene in “the big project” that I dropped. Well, the fact that it looks awesome and the effort and patience that Lauren put into working with me, makes it clear - it needs to be seen.
As time goes by and as I watch more and more amazing HD videos I can’t seem to shake this feeling off, that it’s pointless to finish “the big project” I’ve been working on for a while in the summer. I wanted to make something great, that would open people’s minds to our World. But I don’t think you can do that with a video. It has to start from within a person. That’s what inspired me to even start this project, the constant process of noticing things. The realization of our size in the Universe and how perception of time varies with size. Despite the humongous fail, I would still like to present to you some of my amazing time lapses and not only. I don’t care it’s not HD. Make sure you sit through, listen carefully and let it wash over. Don’t analyze too much, let the thoughts appear naturally and stick with the first idea, always. You will find two parts in this film. First part is a cluster of landscape pans and time lapses. Second (that starts with shaping building) is an editing orgy that I also wrote the music for. I hope you will enjoy - my best looking fail.

I started a new “post card” series. Im pretty busy with training and all but I still listen to a lot of music that inspires me and I still have time to go out for a walk so I decided I’ll put short clips together from each place that I travel to. Enjoy Marzahn, Berlin.
Canada! Since Im obsessed with mountains it was obvious that I’d want to see the ones around Calgary area where I am staying now at the present moment. I talked Jer into taking a trip with me. We cruised around Kananaskis and Canmore and I took random shots all the time without knowing what Im going to do with it later on, per usual. And as always the purpose of the footage became clear to me while seated prior to the editing session. Nevertheless, just a dreamlike short cluster of fall scenarios featuring Jeremy Wotherspoon, speed skating World Record holder in the 500m, countless times World Champion and World Cup winner, 1998 Nagano Olympic Games silver medalist in the 500m. Enjoy!
A short set of autumn cinematography. I wanted to do something longer and more complex but time wasn’t really easy on me. Nevertheless, I hope you’ll enjoy the small bit of fall I present in this clip.
P.s. I would stick to watching these videos in small windows, which the quality was set for. Someday, in the near future I’ll start posting HD ;)
At last… After a good couple of weeks I’ve finalized this project. It was really fun to hang out and goof around in all of the different locations. I’ve picked a few spots that, to me, looked pretty cool and I hope you think the same. I want to thank Mary-Elizabeth, Andrew, Lauren and Sarah for helping and putting effort to make this clip look awesome.

A few abstract shots I took on one of my rollerblade cruises. This is basically a first, more of a test clip so there will definitely be more of this. Future parts are planned to be shot in downtown areas.
Easter was awesome. It was the first time at the cabin this year and like never we got straight sunny weather. I got to hang out with my brother Tomek and his girlfriend Kasia. Here’s what we did on one of the long hikes in the woods. Enjoy!

I had an intense dream about flying the other night. I think it was the cause of working on the Sky:Dive artwork. I had to look for cool clouds and put the title up. After I woke up from my dream I came up with an idea of making a video that would be the impression of it. It was just an idea which in my case, even though I get really hyper, it is still pretty far from realization. What really gave me a huge boost of inspiration to make this, was discovering the song I put in. After I heard it once I just played it over and over for at least 45 minutes. It was clear to me that it would be the perfect soundtrack for my dream…
Another nice day in a row and I thought I’ll go out and shoot some. I was alone so unfortunately I had to put myself in the film to bring some life. It was suppose to be a test video anyway - just trying new things. But in the end it turned out quite ok and I decided that this would be a little motivation piece. I hope it’ll inspire you to get up and go out there ;)
